CrePost is a poster and festival-greeting maker. This policy explains what information the app handles, what is stored only on your device, and what is collected by us or by third-party services when you use the app.
You can use CrePost without an account. Signing in is optional — it is what brings your work back when you change or reset your phone. Sign-in is with your Google account, through Google's Firebase Authentication. What we receive is an account identifier and your email address. We never receive your Google password, and CrePost has no password of its own.
Mobile-number sign-in was offered briefly in September 2026 and has been withdrawn. No new mobile numbers are collected for sign-in. Where an account was created that way, the number held for it remains until that account is deleted — see Deleting your account below. This is separate from the phone number you may put in a business profile, which is contact detail you choose to print on your posters.
So that your work comes back when you change or reset your phone, the following is stored on our servers against your account:
This is not shared with anyone, not sold, and not used for advertising. It can be accessed by your signed-in account and by CrePost's operators, who use it to run your account, to help you when you contact us, and to understand how the app is used (see "How you use the app" below).
Posters you create are saved to your device's gallery and are only shared when you choose to share them.
Open Profile → Account → Delete account and all my data in the app. This permanently deletes your business profiles and logo, your saved dates, your saved posters and favourites, and the account itself, from our servers and from the phone you are using. It cannot be undone. You can also request deletion at creposts.com/delete-account or by emailing us at the address below.
Our server (creposts.com) records usage events — short labels for things you do in the app. They cover:
Some events also carry a short detail about the action — for example which festival, category or kind of occasion it was about, which ready-made design was shared, how you signed in, whether this phone already had a shop on it, or why a step failed — so we can see which designs are worth keeping and which parts of the app work. These events may be linked to your account, so that we can see, for example, how often an account opens the app and how many posters it shares. We use this only to improve CrePost and to support you. The events never include the poster itself, your photos, the text you typed, or your advertising ID.
CrePost Plus is an optional paid subscription that removes the ads and unlocks the premium frames and designs. It is sold only through Google Play, on a monthly or yearly plan that renews automatically until you cancel it.
We never see your payment details. Your card or other payment method is handled entirely by Google Play — it is not entered in the app, does not pass through our servers, and we cannot see it. What the app receives back from Google Play is whether an active subscription exists on your Google account, which is what unlocks the paid features.
Your subscription belongs to your Google Play account, not to a CrePost account, so it comes back on a new phone without you signing in to CrePost. You can view, change or cancel it at any time in the Google Play app under Subscriptions; cancelling stops the next renewal and the paid features stay until the period you have already paid for ends. Refunds are handled by Google Play under their terms. Deleting your CrePost account does not cancel a Google Play subscription — cancel it in Google Play as well.
If you subscribe, we no longer ask Google AdMob to show you ads, so the ad identifier described below stops being used for that purpose.
The app uses the following Google services, which may collect device information (such as device model, OS version, IP address and the approximate location derived from it, app version, and identifiers described below) under Google's Privacy Policy:
All network traffic uses HTTPS, and the app additionally pins the certificate authorities it will accept, so its traffic cannot be intercepted. The data saved to your account is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure and is accessible only to your own signed-in account and to CrePost's operators. We keep it until you delete your account, after which it is removed. Data collected by Google services is retained according to Google's own retention policies.
CrePost is a general-audience business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we change this policy, the new version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date.
